As free agency rapidly approaches, the Phoenix Suns would seem to epitomize the phrase “beggars can’t be choosers.” As we’ve covered, the Suns are a second apron team which means they’ll have to get by with minimum contracts.

Wwhile the cap situation league-wide means some really good players will have to settle for the minimum, it doesn’t mean everyone available will be a bargain, or a fit for this Suns team.

The Suns have to be judicious when picking from this group, as any players signed will have a bigger role than the typical veteran minimum player due to the shallow nature of the roster.
