The Golden State Warriors defeated the Washington Wizards 129-118 on Friday night, improving to 14-14 on the season. In Jordan Poole’s first game at Chase Center since the Dubs packaged him with Ryan Rollins, Patrick Baldwin Jr., and future draft picks during the offseason to acquire Chris Paul. While Poole scored 25 points, it was not enough to come away with a win against his former team.
The Warriors did stumble out of the gate, allowing the Wizards to build an early 8-point lead. However, once again, rookie big man Trayce Jackson-Davis turned the game around when he entered off the bench.
